About Us - RSCDS Dundee

RSCDS Dundee Branch is a registered Scottish charity and a Local Association of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS). The Branch aims to promote Scottish country dancing in Dundee and the surrounding area. The RSCDS was founded in Glasgow in 1923. Branches were gradually set up throughout Scotland and further afield, and Dundee Branch was established in February 1925 after Glasgow and Edinburgh Branches. Members of the Branch are enthusiastic dancers and are always keen to welcome new dancers.

The Branch is run by a Committee made up of Branch members elected by the membership at our Annual General Meeting. Every member of the Branch is entitled to attend this meeting, but only members aged 18 or over may vote.

Anyone who is interested in Scottish country dancing may join the Society.  To join through Dundee Branch, see our Application form.

Dundee Branch is recognized as a Scottish charity and information about us is available on the OSCR website
